BNP's 31-point manifesto unveiled in Mro language in Bandarban

A publication ceremony was held to convey the 31-point state structure repair plan announced by the acting chairman of Bangladesh Nationalist Party BNP, Tarique Rahman, to the Mro community by converting it into the Mro language.
On Thursday afternoon, the 31-point Mro language package was unveiled by District BNP convener Sachingpru Jerry as the chief guest at the residence of BNP's nominated candidate for Bandarban constituency 300, Sachingpru Jerry. The program, chaired by Mro Language Development and Preservation Committee President Singpat Mro, was attended by district BNP joint convener Professor Osman Gani, Jahangir Alam, and representatives of the Mro community, among others.
At the event, BNP candidate Sachingpru Jerry said that this is a good initiative to respect the language and culture of the country's small ethnic groups and to convey the party's thoughts to them more clearly. Publishing the program in the mother tongue is very important to ensure the political awareness and rights of the Mro community, especially in the hilly regions including Bandarban.

He also said that the 31-point program published in the Mro language has highlighted the party's plans in simple language for human rights, equality, development, education, healthcare and solving the special problems of the hills. He also said that in the future, the party's program will also be published in the languages of other ethnic groups including Bam, Khumi, Kheyang.
