Due to the fact that Rangamati is bordered by Longadu river and hills, severe winter has come due to cold winds. Dense fog and bone-chilling winter cold grind people's life. The severity of winter is overwhelming the low-income earners. Finally, Longadu upazila executive officer Kofil Uddin Mahmud stood beside them.

On Monday, Longadu Madinatul Ulum Madrasa and Orphanage under Longadu Upazila and the executive officer Kofil Uddin Mahmud on behalf of the upazila administration appeared at the doorstep of the students and people and distributed blankets to prevent the coldThe poor and poor people of the area were overwhelmed with emotion after receiving this blanket. Mohtamid Md Obaidullah Harab of Longadu Madinatul Uloom Madrasa and Orphanage said, I get winter clothes (blankets) every year more or less from the government. However, we are grateful to the Upazila Nirbahi Officer himself for coming here this year. Present at this time, Upazila BNP President Tofazzal Hossain Longadu Upazila Jamaat Amir Maulana Nashir Uddin Project Implementation Officer Milan Chakma and others started the program by giving 30 pieces of blankets to the orphanage. And the blankets will be delivered to the people of the village through the union chairmen. Longadu Upazila Nirbahi Officer Kofil Uddin Mahmud said that the low-income people should get some warmth in severe winter. For this, under the direction of the Honorable Deputy Commissioner Sir, we distributed these blankets along with the administration of Longadu Upazila, and the officers of various departments including project implementation officers.
