Bengali New Year celebrated in Baraigram

Bengali New Year 1431 was celebrated on Sunday at the initiative of upazila administration, Bonpara municipality and various educational institutions in Baraigram of Natore district.
On the day, the upazila administration organized mars procession, painting-drawing competition and cultural programs.
A mars procession was taken out from the upazila parishad premises under the leadership of Member of Parliament (MP) of Natore-4 constituency Dr. Siddiqur Rahman Patwari and UNO Laila Jannatul Ferdous. Which ends at the upazila parishad square at the end of Bonpara town circuit. A cultural program was organized there under the chairmanship of the Upazila Nirbahi officer.
Acting Upazila Chairman Ataur Rahman, Bonpara Municipal Mayor KM Zakir Hossain and Baraigram Police Station OC Md Shafiul Azam Khan were present as special guests on the occasion. Besides, Upazila Social Service Officer Md. Rezaul Karim, Upazila Project Implementation Officer Md. Abdur Razzak, bir freedom fighters and well-wishers of the area were present there.
