Bangladesh Army University of Engineering & Technology (BAUET) organized a dinner reception to celebrate the 10th founding anniversary of Baral Hall and bid farewell to the students of the 16th batch.

The event was held on Wednesday night.with the Vice Chancellor of BAUET, Brigadier General S M Lutfor Rahman, as the Chief Guest.

The first session of the programme featured a cake-cutting ceremony marking the 10th anniversary of Baral Hall, followed by a prize distribution ceremony and a photo session. Later, the farewell session included speeches by outgoing students, crest distribution, and the sharing of memorable experiences. The Chief Guest handed over crests to the graduating students. Associate Professor Dr. Md. Moynul Islam, Provost of Baral Hall and Head of the Department of Chemistry, presented a crest of honour to the Chief Guest.

The second session featured an enjoyable cultural programme. Students created a lively atmosphere through music, recitation, and various cultural performances. The formal programme concluded with the closing remarks of the Chief Guest, followed by a dinner reception.

The Chief Guest encouraged the students to develop themselves into competent and responsible citizens by practising discipline, morality, perseverance, and humanitarian values. He wished the outgoing students success in their future endeavours and expressed his hope for the continued development and prosperity of Baral Hall.

Among those present at the event were the Acting Treasurer and Controller of Examinations of the University, Colonel Hla Han Maung, PBGMS (Retd.); Registrar Colonel Dewan Md. Liaqat Ali (Retd.); Dean of the Faculty of Science and Humanities and the Faculty of Law and Justice, Professor Dr. Md. Sazzad Hossain; Dean of the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), Professor Mohammad Golam Sarwar Bhuyan; heads of departments, faculty members, university officials, and students.
