The Barishal Narcotics Control Department has extended its support to help the father who recently went viral on social media for theft. He has been taken to a rehabilitation center (rehab) under its own responsibility.
It is learned that in the past few days, an incident related to the crime of theft of a person has gone viral on social media. When the matter was discussed all around, the reason behind it and the current situation of the person came to the attention of many. Considering the humanitarian aspect of the situation, the Narcotics Control Department, Barisal took the initiative to remove him from the path of crime and return him to normal life.
According to relevant sources, fearing that the person might be involved in such a path due to drug addiction or other environmental problems, the department, at its own responsibility, arranged for him to be admitted to a rehab center for counseling and treatment.
Local conscious people have applauded this humane and responsible initiative of the Narcotics Control Department. According to them, not only punishment, but also bringing such individuals back to normal life through proper treatment, rehabilitation and counseling will bring positive changes to the society.
