8 people injured in dog bite in Sundarganj, cattle affected.

In Sundarganj, Gaibandha, 8 people, including a child, two cows and four goats were bitten by a dog. Later, the locals killed the dog.
These incidents occurred at separate times in three villages of Bamondanga Union of the upazila on Saturday morning.
The injured are Md. Abdul Hannan (50) and Tofazzal Hossain (70), sons of the late Joyn Uddin of Jamal village in Bamandanga union, Md. Chabir Mia (55), son of the late Royz Uddin; Md. Sohag Mia (4), son of Hafizur of Deodoba village, and Md. Atoar Rahman (50), son of the late Abdul Mannan of the same village; Md. Zahurul Islam (25), son of Sofial Mia of Moniram village, and Md. Rubel Mia (30), son of the late Mozahar, and Md. Hasan Ali (60), son of the late Ahmed Ali of Makrampur village in Pirgachha upazila of neighboring Rangpur.
According to local sources, at around 8 am, the night watchman of Ichlar Bazaar, Md. Hasan Ali, was attacked by the dog on his way home after finishing his duty. Half an hour later, at around 8:30 am, Jamal entered the village and bit and injured four people one by one. Longeng
There are bite marks on Abdul Hannan's neck, Tofazzal Hossain's hands, Mia's body in the picture and various parts of the body of child Sohag Mia. Then, at around 9:30 am, the dog bit three more people in the Gazir More area of Moniram village. Among them, it bit Atowar Rahman on the face and legs, Zahurul Islam on the left hand and Rubel Mia on the right hand.
Four injured people from Jamal village have received treatment at the nearby Pirgachha Upazila Health Complex. After receiving treatment, they have been advised to return home and seek treatment in Rangpur. On the other hand, the injured people from Moniram and Deodoba villages have received treatment at the Sundarganj Upazila Health Complex.
Locals said that in addition to attacking people, the dog also bit two cows and four goats. After the attack, the dog roamed around in different areas, spreading panic among the locals. Later, the locals caught the dog and killed it.
Bamandanga Union Parishad Chairman Md. Abdul Jabbar said, 'Eight people, including a child, were injured in a dog bite. One of them is a resident of Makrampur village in neighboring Pirgachha upazila. Meanwhile, people from the livestock department are working at the scene.'
Sundarganj Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Md. Kamrul Hasan said, 'Four people who came to the hospital injured by dog bites have been given necessary treatment.
