UNO makes surprise visit to govt shelter center in Nagarkanda

Nagarkanda Upazila Nirbahi Officer Rezwana Afrin made a surprise visit to Chandhat Government Shelter Center in Charjashordi Union of Nagarkanda Upazila of Faridpur on Monday afternoon.
The residents of the shelter center were overjoyed to see the UNO among them and expressed their various demands and problems. Upazila Nirbahi Officer Rezwana Afrin also listened to them carefully and assured them of solving their problems and provided various directions.
During this time, he gave 5,000 taka in cash to a helpless family and distributed some footballs to the boys and girls of the shelter center to encourage them to play sports.
Among others present at the event were Nagarkanda Upazila and Charjashordi Union Women's Party leader Nipa Zaman, Nagarkanda Upazila Agriculture Officer Rezaul Karim, Charjashordi Union Land Assistant Officer Ratneshwar, Charjashordi Union BNP leader Mustafa Molla, Jobair Molla, Union Women's Party leader Sumitra Malo, Khushi Begum and Monowara.
