Anti -discrimination student movement organised a protest meeting demanding steps to ban all the activities of ISKCON at Debidwar in Cumilla on Thursday noon.

The protesters demanded investigation into attempt to kill coordinators of Anti-discrimination Student Movement Hasnat Abdullah and Sarjis Alam by hitting a truck twice in Chittagong's Lohagara and Dhaka's Jatrabari area, along with demanding justice for the murder of lawyer Saiful Islam Alif.

The protest march started from the upazila gate and went around the important places of Sadar area and went to Newmarket Chattar to hold a short rally.

Speakers from the rally following the protest march demanded that the killers of lawyer Saiful Islam Alif be identified and arrested and that ISKCON be banned in Bangladesh within the next 24 hours. In addition, the gathering demanded speedy trial by identifying those who tried to kill Hasnat Abdullah, convener of the anti-discrimination student movement, and Sarjis Alam, general secretary of Juli Shaheed Smriti Foundation, in Lohagara area of Chittagong and Jatrabari area of Dhaka.

The speakers in the protest rally also said that the radical terrorists of ISKCON killed Saiful Islam Alif in the court premises on Tuesday, they also attacked the mosque. ISKCON is a militant organization, ISKCON is an Indian organization, ISKCON is an organization of Awami League, we will not allow such organizations to stay in the soil of Bengal. By banning ISKCON, all those involved in the killing of Saiful Islam Alif should be punished. Otherwise, the students announced that they are ready to organize another war. They also said, we are ready, you should also be ready, the call of war may come at any time. If necessary, the student society will declare war again with you.
