Assistance of Good Neighbors in post-flood rehabilitation in Kamalganj

The international voluntary organization Good Neighbors Bangladesh Moulvibazar CDP has provided house building materials, agricultural materials and cash assistance for post-flood rehabilitation.
On Wednesday, Adampur UP Chairman Abdal Hossain presided over the Good Neighbors Bangladesh office at Adampur, Kamalganj Upazila, where Upazila Nirbahi Officer Joynal Abedin was present as the chief guest.
Upazila Agriculture Officer Jayant Kumar Roy, Public Health Sub-Assistant Engineer Sujan Ahmed, CDP Manager Bipul Rema, Newcomer CDP Manager Sheikh Jubel Mia, Moulvibazar Press Club Member Secretary Sheikh Sirajul Islam Siraj, Kamalganj Press Club Convener MA Wahid Rulu were present as special guests in the program conducted by Anisuzzaman. Assistant teacher Abdus Salam of MA Wab High School.
In the event, 80 people were given 3 buns and 240 pieces of dheutin, 5 thousand and 4 lakhs in cash and 10 pieces of 800 paka pillars. Besides, 120 people were provided with latrines and 280 people were provided with 30 kg of fertilizer and vegetable seeds.
Earlier, 16 students were given 160,000 taka education scholarships of 10,000 taka each.
