Army distributes sports equipment to youths in Bandarban

Sports equipment were distributed to boys and girls in remote areas of the hilly region on the initiative of the army to encourage them to take up sports.
On Friday afternoon, under the auspices of the 5th Bengal of the Bandarban Army Zone, sports equipment was distributed to boys and girls from small ethnic groups in Mahendra Para, Dulupara and Amtoli Para of Sadar Upazila under the Longlai Army Camp and Dulupara Army Camp under the Harmony and Development Project.
There is no alternative to sports to keep the youth away from drugs. Therefore, in this initiative, we will continue to take up sports. Various types of developmental activities will be carried out by the Bangladesh Army, namely the Bandarban Zone, for the welfare of the people of this area.
Meanwhile, local people of all levels expressed satisfaction with the army for such public welfare activities.
