Army's humanitarian assistance to helpless in Bandarban

In addition to providing security in the mountains, the Bangladesh Army has also been playing an important role in humanitarian activities. In continuation of this, iftar items have been distributed among the poor and helpless people at the initiative of the Bandarban Region. At the same time, cash assistance was also provided to the families affected by the recent fire in the Ujani Para area of the city. 
 
On Thursday afternoon, these iftar items and cash were distributed by Captain Samiul Islam of the 69th Infantry Brigade at the MDS field.
 
At that time, G3I Captain Samiul Islam said, "In addition to maintaining peace and order in the hilly areas, the Bangladesh Army has continued its humanitarian assistance activities. We are standing by the helpless and distressed people of the society and providing humanitarian assistance. Such initiatives will continue in the future as well," said the army official.
 
During the event, 100 families and orphanages were provided with daily necessities including rice, pulses, oil, chickpeas, and dates. Cash assistance was also provided to some families affected by the fire.
 
Meanwhile, the beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to the army after receiving the assistance. They said that this cooperation will be of great help to them and they felt relieved that the army was by their side during difficult times.
