
Arial Swarnamoyee High School wins debate competition in Tongibari

A debate competition on corruption prevention was held in Tongibari, Munshiganj to instill honesty and morality among students.
The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) organized the competition in the hall of Pura Durga Charan High School in the upazila on Tuesday morning.
A total of 5 teams participated in the competition organized in collaboration with the Tongibari Upazila Corruption Prevention Committee. In the final round, Arial Swarnamoyee High School defeated Abdullahpur High School in a fierce battle of arguments and counterarguments and won the championship. Pura Durga Charan High School secured the third place.
The judges of the competition were Shahnaz Begum, Principal of Munshiganj Brilliant Cadet KG School, Nu-Alam, Assistant Teacher of Mitara Government Primary School, and Md. Sohag Sheikh, Live Stock Service Provider of Tongibari Upazila Animal Resources Office.
Kamrul Hasan, Headmaster of Pura Durga Charan High School, Md. Masum, Joint General Secretary of Tongibari Upazila Corruption Prevention Committee, Member Qadir Khan, Journalists M M Rahman, Md. Jasim Uddin, Rabbi Sardar, Pavel Sikder, along with teachers, students and guardians were present.
The organizers said that such a competition will help instill moral values among the students and strengthen the anti-corruption consciousness.
