Advisor to the Chairperson of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), veteran politician and freedom fighter Adv. Fazlur Rahman said that the autocratic fascist Awami government wanted to make BNP leaderless by filing false and conspiratorial cases against three-time former Prime Minister, BNP Chairperson, uncompromising national leader Khaleda Zia and BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman. Now the Awami League itself has become empty along with the party.

He said that the Awami government wanted to keep BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman out of the country by filing false and conspiratorial cases against them, and now they are the ones who are leaving the country.

He said this while he was addressing a view exchanging meeting on Monday afternoon, at the 24-hour Sri Sri Tarakabraham Mahanaam Yagyanusht organized by the villagers of Dineshpur village of Dhanpur union in Itna upazila of Kishoreganj.

At the beginning of his speech, he asked everyone for prayers for the health of the three-time Prime Minister, the uncompromising leader of the country, Begum Khaleda Zia, and said, our leader Tarique Rahman also asked everyone for prayers, his address is Bangladesh, not abroad. This government cannot be allowed to fail under any circumstances.

Addressing the leaders and workers, Tarique Rahman also said, "I do not have that hobby of becoming an MP, a minister, or an ambassador. My dream is to be by your side, be your brother, and work with you for the people of the country."

At that time, Fazlur Rahman further said in his speech, everyone must be free from the looting and tyrannical Awami regime so that it cannot return. Even the three upazilas of Itna Mithamoin Ashtagram in Kishoreganj were not left out as a paradise of injustice, oppression and looting. We must learn from these. No one got away with committing unjust crimes. Therefore, I will tell the BNP party leaders and activists that our leader Tarique Rahman has said that the leaders and activists should all work in the way the party will give instructions in the future and remain united.

Finally, he exchanged greetings with the followers of traditional religions and gave advice and suggestions to continue religious activities without any hindrance.
