Absolute victory of Bulbul-Shafayet-Jewel Parishad in Dinajpur Taxes Bar Association elections

Bulbul-Shafayet-Jewel Parishad has won the biennial election-2026 of the Dinajpur Taxes Bar Association by securing a majority.
Voting was held without interruption from 12 noon to 4 pm at the Dinajpur Regional Tax Commissioner's office on Saturday.
Out of a total of 107 voters, 92 exercised their right to vote in the election.
Advocate Md. Wahiduzzaman Bulbul was elected as the president with 67 votes. His nearest rival, Advocate Atiqur Rahman Babu, was defeated with 25 votes.
As there were no rivals in the other main posts, the candidates Subrata Majumder Dollar and Advocate Abu Sayeed Babu won unopposed for the posts of Vice-President, Molla Mohammad Shafayet Hossain for the post of General Secretary, Advocate Md. Abu Taher Sarkar for the post of Assistant General Secretary, and Advocate Md. Mahmudul Islam (Jewel) for the post of Treasurer.
In addition, the winners of the executive member post were Md. Muntasir Aziz (Upal) with 86 votes, Adv. Md. Mainul Hossain (Mamun) with 86 votes, Adv. Md. Zakaria Hossain with 81 votes, Pranoy M. Rosario with 77 votes, and Md. Abdul Matin with 77 votes.
Among the candidates contesting for the post of member, Adv. Serajul Salekin was defeated by getting 27 votes and Adv. Humayun Kabir Shah by 21 votes.
After hearing the winning results, Advocate Md. Rafiqul Islam Ghutu, Senior Advisor of Dinajpur Taxes Bar Association, congratulated everyone present and made them smile.
