Abdur Rashid Miah new Chief Engineer of LGED

The Ministry of Public Administration has issued a notification appointing Abdur Rashid Miah as the new Chief Engineer of the Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) for a period of one year on a contractual basis.This information was given through a notification signed by Md. Golam Rabbani, Deputy Secretary of the Contract and Foreign Employment Section of the Ministry of Public Administration on Tuesday. The notification states that in accordance with Section 49 of the Government Services Act, 2018, Md. Abdur Rashid Miah has been appointed as the Chief Engineer of the Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) on a contractual basis for a period of 01 (one) year from the date of joining on the condition that his unexpired post-retirement leave and related benefits are suspended and he will not be engaged in any other profession, business or employment relationship with any government, semi-government, private institution/organization.Other terms of this appointment will be determined by the contract.
