'Management Day 2023' was celebrated on Sunday on the occasion of the 53rd founding anniversary of Dhaka University Management Department.

On this occasion, the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof. Dr. ASM Maksud Kamal was present as the chief guest. Departmental Chairman Prof. Dr. Md. Mosharraf Hossain presided over the ceremony, Dean of Business Studies Faculty. Muhammad Abdul Moin, former MD and CEO of Palli Accumik Bank Khandaker Ataur Rahman and Professor Ali Akkas spoke.

Leadership is closely related. The success of any organization depends on the management and managerial skills of the organization. He said that Dhaka University Management Department has been contributing to the development of management education and research in the country for a long time with great reputation. He expressed hope that this trend will continue and that the department will play an appropriate role in making students skilled and good citizens in keeping with globalization.

The Vice-Chancellor also said that training will be provided to teachers, students, officers and employees equally to increase the quality of education and research of Dhaka University. The Vice-Chancellor appealed to all concerned to work collectively to move the university forward through the use of technology in all areas, integration of knowledge and skills and innovative thinking. In the 2nd phase of the program, an interesting cultural program was performed with the participation of departmental students.
