500 families get Dost Aid food items in Jibannagar

'Dost Aid Bangladesh Society' has distributed 15 types of food items including rice, pulses and oil among five hundred needy and helpless families in Jibannagar upazila of Chuadanga. The families are happy to receive such gifts before Eid.
Jibannagar UNO Md. Al-Amin was present as the chief guest at the food distribution ceremony at Hasadah Multipurpose Secondary School grounds of the upazila on Monday afternoon, chaired by Dost Aid Executive Member Sabbir Sami Muhith.
Jahangir Alam Chowdhury, Chairman of Dost Aid Bangladesh Society, was present as the chief guest.
Jibannagar Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Syedjadi Mahbuba Manjur Mouna, Jibannagar Police Station OC Mamun Hossain Biswas, Upazila Social Service Officer Md. Zakir Uddin Morol were present as special guests.
In his speech as the chief guest, Jibannagar UNO Md. Al-Amin said that Dost Aid Society has distributed food items among 500 families. This will greatly reduce the suffering of the helpless people. I hope that such activities of Dost Aid will continue in this area.
In his speech as the chief guest, Dost Aid Bangladesh Society Chairman Jahangir Alam Chowdhury said that Dost Aid is working for the welfare of the backward communities in the society. 500 food packets have been distributed here to reduce the suffering of the helpless people. Such activities will continue in the future.
Also present at the event were Hossain Ahmed, Branch In-charge of Chuadanga branch of Dost Aid Bangladesh Society, Senior Executive Md. Ramzan Ali, Junior Executive Md. Atiqul Islam and Anim Ahmed.
The event was hosted by teacher Asif Al Farooqui, journalist Chashi Ramzan.
It is mentioned that 'Dost Aid' has been carrying out various developmental works across the country since 2017, including the installation of tubewells, ablution facilities and deep tubewells, self-reliance, distribution of vans and rickshaws, distribution of sewing machines, construction of mosques, distribution of wheelchairs, cataract operations, distribution of bicycles and educational materials among students, provision of scholarships, distribution of health protection materials for women, emergency relief, iftar during Ramadan, and sacrifice.
