5 arrested with weapons in joint forces operation in Chandpur

Five people have been arrested with a shotgun and other country-made weapons in a joint forces operation in Chandpur city. They were arrested in a raid conducted in the Wireless More, Munshibari, Ibugazi Mess areas of the city on Tuesday morning.
This information was confirmed from the Chandpur Army Camp in a release this morning. The people arrested in the raid are - Md. Mamun (28), Abdul Halim Rocky (23), Md. Belal (40), Md. Sujan (28) and Md. Liton (25).
According to the information received, based on a secret tip-off, a raid was conducted from the Chandpur Army Camp in the Wireless More, Munshi Bari, Ibugazi Mess areas. During this time, 5 people were arrested and a shotgun, three shotgun ammunition, a war rod cutter, a grinder machine, a nut range, two pipe sticks, a medium hammer, a knife, a stone range, a cutting pliers, a rope, a car nameplate with the number (12-5756), three gas lights, three yaba pipes were recovered from them.
Operational Officer of Chandpur Army Camp, Lieutenant Jabid Hasan said that the 5 arrested people and the recovered weapons and materials have been handed over to the District Detective Branch (DB) office. He said that the operation to recover armed terrorists, drug dealers and illegal weapons will continue.
