Student killed road accident in Chapainawabganj

A student named Riyad Chowdhury died in a collision between a motorcycle and an engine-driven van in Chapainawabganj.
The incident took place in Jhillipara of Shibganj upazila on Tuesday morning. Shibganj Police Station OC Golam Kibria confirmed this information. Riyad Chowdhury is the son of Ratan Chowdhury of Madhupur of Saidpur upazila of Nilphamari.
This time he was supposed to appear for the SSC examination from Chapainawabganj Fulkuri Islamic Academy.
Riyad's father works at the Rural Electricity Association in Maharajpur, Chapainawabganj. They lived in a rented house in Maharajpur. OC Golam Kibria said that Riyad and a friend of his were going to private lessons on a motorcycle in the morning. Riyad died on the spot when their motorcycle collided with an engine-powered van at Jhilpara on the Chapainawabganj-Shibganj highway. His friend was slightly injured. Police reached the spot and recovered Riyad's body and sent it to the morgue for autopsy. Legal action will be taken in this regard.
Meanwhile, Md. Abdul Ahad, Headmaster of Fulkuri Islamic Academy, expressed grief over the tragic death of the student. He said that Riyad was a brilliant student of class 10. I express my condolences to the bereaved family. May Allah, the Most Gracious and Merciful, give the family members the strength to bear this grief and accept the deceased as a guest of Paradise in the afterlife. He said that Riyad's funeral(Gayebana Janaza Namaz) will be held at the school ground on Wednesday at 10:45 am.
