44th BCS written results published; 11,732 qualify

A total of 11,732 candidates have cleared the 44th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) written examination.
The Public Service Commission (PSC) published the test results on Wednesday afternoon.
PSC sources said the oral examination of the passers will start from the first week of May this year.
The detailed schedule of the oral examination will be notified in the national daily newspaper and website of the commission, the sources added.
Out of the total 11,732 passed, some 5,326 applied for General Cadre and the rest applied for General and Technical or Professional Cadre.
The 44th BCS preliminary exam was held on 27 May 2022. A total of 2,76,760 candidates appeared for the test. Of them, 15,708 passed the preliminary examination.
