The Barishal district administration organized a sports equipment distribution event at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office for students of Barisal University on Monday.
DC of Barishal, Mohammad Delwar Hossain, handed over the equipment to the students.
Present at the event were Md. Irfan, Assistant Professor of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Barisal University; Md. Saidul Islam, Barisal District Sports Officer; and Shahidul Islam Shahed, Convener of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, Barisal Metropolitan, along with university students.
On behalf of the district administration, cricket sets, footballs, badminton sets, and volleyball sets were distributed among the students to encourage sports and physical activity.
