35 banks publicly disbursed agri loan to 61 people in Chapainawabganj

Thirty five banks publicly disbursed agricultural loans to 61 farmers and agricultural entrepreneurs in Chapainawabganj district. The public agricultural loan distribution was held at the office of the Deputy Commissioner on Wednesday morning.
Rajshahi Divisional Additional Commissioner (Gen) Tarafdar Md. Akhter Jamil was present as the chief guest at the loan distribution ceremony.
Chapainawabganj Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate Md. Abdus Samad presided over the ceremony and Sudhir Ranjan Biswas, General Manager of Agrani Bank PLC, Rajshahi Circle was present as the invited guest.
Bangladesh Bank, Rajshahi Deputy Director Md. Rabiul Islam was present as the special guest. Additional Deputy Commissioner (Gen) Naqib Hasan Tarafdar, DGM of Rajshahi Krishi Unnayan Bank Shawkat Shahidul Islam, Regional Head of Agrani Bank, PLC Md. Rafiqul Islam and members of the Chapainawabganj District Agricultural Loan Committee were present at the event. The program was moderated by Md. Nazir Hasan, Zonal Office of Agrani Bank PLC, Chapainawabganj.
35 banks publicly provided agricultural loans worth about half a crore taka to 61 farmers and agricultural entrepreneurs at the event.
The district administration and lead bank, Agrani Bank PLC Chapainawabganj, organized the loan distribution.
