
3 notorious terrorists held with two homemade firearms, ammunition in Maheshkhali by Coast Guard

The Bangladesh Coast Guard detained three notorious terrorists along with two homemade firearms and a large quantity of ammunition in Maheshkhali, Cox’s Bazar on Thursday.
Coast Guard Media Officer Lieutenant Commander Siam-ul-Haque disclosed this information in a press release on Thursday morning.
According to the press release, based on secret information, on Wednesday at 4:00 PM, a special operation was conducted by Coast Guard Station Maheshkhali in the area adjacent to Keruntoli under Maheshkhali police station in Cox's Bazar. During the operation, the Coast Guard carried out a search in the area and arrested three notorious terrorists while they were engaged in buying and selling arms and ammunition. Two homemade firearms, five rounds of live rifle ammunition, and twenty-five rounds of foreign live cartridges used for shotguns were recovered during the operation.
Legal procedures regarding the seized evidence and the arrested individuals are currently underway.
The Bangladesh Coast Guard will continue such operations in the future to maintain the country's law and order situation.
