Vijaya Dashami of Durga Puja celebrated in Bandarban

One of the main religious festivals of the Sanatan Dharma, the Vijaya Dashami of the autumn Durga Puja, was celebrated in Bandarban with various religious events.
On Thursday morning, on the day of Vijaya Dashami of the autumn Durga Puja, hundreds of Sanatan Dharma devotees gathered in various temples and puja mandapams.
At this time, men and women of the Sanatan Dharma receive Dashami flower offerings from fasting, and women spread vermilion and oil on each other's faces to convey the message of the goddess's immersion. The Dhuper Aarti continued from mandapam to mandapam with the playing of drums and drums.
The devotees of the traditional community present at the time received garlands of bell leaves, flowers and sandalwood and exchanged greetings on Vijaya Dashami, praying for the well-being of the family, country and nation. Later, sweets were distributed at various temples.
The Sharadiya Durga Utsav is being celebrated at 32 puja mandap in Bandarban district and upazila, and the biggest religious festival of the traditional society, Sharadiya Durga Puja, will conclude with the immersion of the idol in the Sangu River in Bandarban after the Dashami Puja.
