3 accused in controversial Raihan murder case arrested in Rupganj

RAB- 11 arrested 3 accused in the controversial Raihan murder case in Rupganj, Narayanganj. They were arrested from a house near the Baitul Nur Jame Mosque in Bepari Bari of Araihazar Upazila of the district on Wednesday night.
The arrested are Taijul, son of the deceased Yanuche of Baruna Pubertek area of Kayetpara Union, his wife Rahima, and daughter Tairin. RAB 11 Company Commander Md. Ishtiaq Hossain confirmed the arrest.
He said that Taijul borrowed 5 lakh taka from expatriate Raihan. Since then, he kept delaying in paying the borrowed money. Later, on the morning of March 24 this year, when he went to ask for the money due, he got into an argument with him. In the evening, Taijul called Raihan to his house and killed him, saying that he would give him the money. Then they left Raihan's body on the second floor of Taijul's house and fled. In this incident, Raihan's father filed a murder case with the police station against unknown accused. Since this incident, Taijul, his wife Rahima, and daughter Tairin have been absconding. Based on secret information, we came to know that the absconding accused were staying in a house near Baitul Nur Jame Mosque in Bepari Bari of Araihazar Upazila. Based on such information, a RAB 11 operation team conducted an operation and arrested them. The arrested have been handed over to Rupganj Police Station.
In this regard, Rupganj Police Station OC Liakat Ali said, RAB 11 has arrested 3 accused in the discussed Raihan murder case. The arrested have been sent to Narayanganj Court.
