1971 principles unmet after 54 years: NCP’s Akhtar
Staff Correspondent
The key principles of the Liberation War – equality, human dignity, and social justice – have not be been realised even though 54 years have passed since Bangladesh became independent, said NCP Member Secretary Akhtar Hossain on Tuesday.
The number two official of youth-led National Citizen Party (NCP) made the remark during the freshly-launched party’s first organisational activity. On Tuesday morning, the party paid tribute to the martyrs of the Liberation War at the National Memorial.
NCP leaders and activists will work to realise the three goals of the Liberation War, Akhtar said adding the party has more proposals for national development.
