12 Arrested in Rajshahi During Special Police Drive; Suspect Linked to Terror Activities Detained

In a special drive conducted by Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP), including its respective police stations and Detective Branch (DB), a total of 12 individuals have been arrested in Rajshahi city.
Over the past 24 hours ending Saturday RMP conducted operations in various areas of the city. One person was arrested on charges of involvement in an attack on an anti-discrimination student movement, explosion, and other terrorist activities.
Additionally, 11 others were arrested in various other cases: 3 on warrant 3 in drug-related cases 5 for other criminal offenses
As part of Operation Devil Hunt, a suspect named Marshal alias Marshaal (35), son of the late Helal of Sabzipara under Boalia Model Police Station, was arrested. He is a former member of the Rajshahi Metropolitan Swechchhasebak League and a former joint convener of Rajshahi City College Chhatra League.
Legal action has been taken against all the arrestees.
