Discussion, awards to best workers, institutions in Muksudpur on World Population Day

"Let's implement the hopes and aspirations of the youth, let's build a beautiful future on the heels of today" is the theme of the World Population Day-2026 organized by the Upazila Family and Planning Office at the Upazila Parishad Auditorium on Sunday.
During the discussion meeting, crests and certificates were distributed among the best employees and organizations.
UNO Mahmud Ashiq Kabir presided over the event and UFPHO Md. Humayun Kabir delivered the welcome address under the chairmanship of UNo Mahmud Ashiq Kabir and moderated by Assistant Family Welfare Inspector (FWV) of Gohala Union Health and Family Welfare Center Mahmuda Akter. Among others, Muksudpur Police Station OC (Investigation) Officer Md. Matiar Molla, Upazila Livestock Officer Dr. Jahangir Alam, Upazila Agriculture Officer Krishibid Md. Mizanur Rahman, Batikamari Deputy Assistant Community Medical Officer Hasanuzzaman, Muksudpur Sadar Clinic Family Welfare Inspector Mukta Begum and Gobindapur 3/K Unit Lilia Begum spoke. Present at the event were Upazila Social Service Officer Rakibul Hasan Shuvo, Upazila Youth Development Officer Sayad Uddin Ahmed, Senior Upazila Fisheries Officer Md. Azizul Islam, Muksudpur Press Club President Md. Chiru Mia and General Secretary Kazi Md. Ohidul Islam, along with heads of various government departments, officers and employees of the Upazila Family and Planning Department, health workers, and local media workers.
The discussion focused on the significance of World Population Day, population management, strengthening family planning activities, maternal and child health protection, and youth health and development. The speakers said that effective implementation of family planning activities is very important for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
At the end of the ceremony, crests and certificates were awarded to the best workers and institutions in various categories in recognition of their special contributions to family planning activities.
The awardees are the Best Sub-Assistant Community Medical Officer (SACMO): Md. Hasanuzzaman, Best Family Welfare Inspector (FWV): Mukta Begum, Best Family Planning Inspector (FPI): Salauddin Malik and Best Family Welfare Assistant (FWA): Lilia Begum.
