17 arrested including two in Special Operation in RMP

In a special operation conducted by the Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP) in various parts of Rajshahi city over the past 24 hours ending Tuesday , a total of 17 individuals have been arrested, including 2 in connection with specific charges.
The special operation targeted individuals involved in attacks on the anti-discrimination student movement, causing explosions, terrorist activities, and other criminal offenses, resulting in the arrest of 2 persons. Additionally, RMP operations led to the arrest of 15 others, including 5 with active warrants and 10 for other offenses.
Among those arrested in the special operation are Awami League activists Pankaj Das (33) and Md. Rajib (38). Pankaj Das is the son of Tapan Kumar Das from Fudki Para under Boalia Model Thana in Rajshahi Metropolis, and Rajib is the son of the late Chand Ali from Hetemkha Sabjipara under the same thana.
Legal action has been taken against the arrested individuals.
