
2,110 students appear for HSC exam in Mirzapur

This year's HSC and equivalent exams across the country began on Thursday at 10:00 am and ended at 1:00 pm.
About 2,110 students participated in the first day of the HSC exam in Mirzapur, Tangail. The Mirzapur Upazila Education Office confirmed the matter.
According to the information, the total number of HSC General Education Board and Technical Department candidates in Mirzapur Upazila was 2,135. Out of 1,942 HSC General Education Board candidates, 1918 and 193 candidates from the Technical Department participated on the first day. A total of 25 candidates were absent from the Bengali exam on the first day of the HSC exam. HSC examinations were held in Mirzapur Upazila at a total of 2 HSC centres and one technical centre.
Mirzapur Upazila Secondary Education Officer Md. Zulfiqar Haider told the daily Country Today that this time the HSC examination was conducted in a fair and peaceful manner. And the students also participated in the examination voluntarily. The tag officer in charge of the centre, the centre secretary and everyone involved in the examination performed their duties properly.
Mirzapur UNO A. B.M. Ariful Islam told The Country Today that we visited each centre. The examination was conducted peacefully on the first day of the examination in accordance with the instructions given by the Ministry of Education.
