Body of young man recovered from corn field in Lalmonirhat

Police have recovered the body of a young man named Helal Uddin (32) from a corn field in Lalmonirhat.
On the morning of Wednesday, police recovered the body from a corn field in the Hazir Mor area of Joyhari village in Barabari union of Lalmonirhat Sadar upazila.
The deceased Helal Uddin is said to be the son of A. Shahid of Paschim Mandal Para village of Panchagram Union of that upazila.
According to police and local sources, locals saw the body of an unidentified person lying in a corn field in the Hazir More area that day. When the news became public, there was a stir in the area. Later, locals informed the police. Lalmonirhat Sadar Police Station police quickly reached the spot and recovered the body.
Although the body could not be identified initially, the deceased's elder brother Belal Uddin rushed to the scene after receiving the news. Seeing his younger brother's lifeless body lying there, he broke down in tears and lost consciousness at one point. After regaining consciousness, he confirmed that the deceased was his own younger brother Helal Uddin.
Lalmonirhat Sadar Police Station OC Abdul Matin said that immediately after receiving the information, the police went to the spot, recovered the body and prepared a post-mortem report. The body has been sent to Lalmonirhat Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy. He also said that the identity of the deceased has been identified. His elder brother confirmed that he is a resident of Panchagram Union. The real cause of death will be known after receiving the autopsy report. He also said that the process of taking legal action in this regard is underway.
