To build beautiful nation, students must develop their intellectual potential : RUCSU VP

Vice- President of the Rajshahi University Central Students’ Union (RUCSU), Mostakur Rahman Zahid, said that the primary goal of every patriotic young person should be to contribute to building a prosperous and beautiful nation. He emphasized that students must utilize their full intellectual potential and achieve academic excellence in order to help shape the country’s future. Success in life, he noted, requires a combination of morality, perseverance, and self-confidence.
He made these remarks on Sunday while addressing a prayer and farewell program for Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinees organized by the Government Honors College branch of Islami Chhatra Shibir in Baraigram.
The event was presided over by the college branch president, Suman Hossain. The keynote speech was delivered by Dr. Abdullah Al Mamun, Professor of the Department of Islamic Studies at University of Rajshahi.
Special guests included Zahid Hasan, Abu Bakar Siddique, Secretary of the Baraigram Upazila Jamaat, Nazmul Islam, Law Affairs Secretary of the district Chhatra Shibir, former district Publication Secretary Iqbal Hossain, and Ashikuzzaman Akash, President of the Upazila Chhatra Shibir. At the conclusion of the program, the chief guest distributed gifts among the HSC examinees in attendance.
