BNP leaders laid wreaths at the historical Revolution Garden in Chittagong. The leaders said that President Zia's honesty and patriotism is a unique example - Martyr President Ziaur Rahman is a soldier, a herald of independence and one of the sector commanders of the liberation war, but he also left some achievements in the national history of Bangladesh, which makes him one of the most important people in history established as and so far no government or head of state in Bangladesh has been able to surpass this feat. Ziaur Rahman had an adventurous role in re-establishing multi-party democracy in Bangladesh.

Nangalmora Union BNP Convener Alhaj Salauddin Ali presided over a short rally at Chittagong Historical Revolution Park, Nangalmora Union BNP Joint Convener Gazi Morshedul Alam, Nangalmora Union BNP Joint Convenor Mohammad Azam Member, Nangal Mora Union spoke among others recently.

Aktar Hossain Bhutto member, Union BNP member Gazi Shahedul Karim, Upazila Jubo Dal joint convenor Gias Uddin MahmudUpazila Jubo Dal Joint Convener Mohammad, Mamunur Rashid Mamun Member, Master Azam, Jubo Dal Leader Imran, Neshar Uddin, Chhatra Dal Vice President Mohammad Al Helal, Rakib Chowdhury, Shakib, Imran Hossain Masud and a large number of leaders and activists were present.

He also said that when Sheikh Mujib Bakshal killed the democracy of this country and established a one-party rule system, it was Ziaur Rahman who re-established democracy as a beacon of light. Along with that, Martyr President Ziaur Rahman has left a unique example of honesty and love for the country in the politics of Bangladesh. A true leader must possess many qualities. Patriotism and honesty are among them. The words patriotism and honesty are complementary to each other. Because of this honesty and patriotism, Shaheed Zia is the favorite leader and popular personality of the people of this country. President Ziaur Rahman was an honest and patriotic national hero. Honesty and patriotism were Ziaur Rahman's main strengths.

Salahuddin Ali also said that after Ziaur Rahman assumed power, he ensured multi-party democracy, freedom of speech and freedom of the press in the country. He has always tried to make the country economically independent. He succeeded in rousing them by creating a new enthusiasm in the nation. The deep patriotism, honesty, devotion to duty and foresight that he displayed during his short-lived administration is unmatched today. Even his political opponents and staunch critics could not raise any question about his integrity and patriotism after martyrdom. President Ziaur Rahman has made a permanent seat in the hearts of the people of this country for this reason.

Baroness Margaret Thatcher, the world-famous former Prime Minister of Britain, known as the 'Iron Lady', left a request before her death that a song by Scottish patriotic poet Robert Burns be played at her funeral. That was, 'iPage to the, My Country'. It means 'O my country, I pledge myself to you'. Ziaur Rahman, the martyred president of Bangladesh, committed himself to the country and the nation in such a way that his favorite song was, 'First Bangladesh, my last Bangladesh/ Jivan Bangladesh, Amar Maran Bangladesh'. This song inspired him. Along with him, the entire nation was inspired to come forward in the service of the country.
