Youth group's mosquito control campaign to prevent dengue in Narsingdi

As part of the central program to keep the environment clean, the District Jatiyatabadi Jubo Dal has conducted a cleanliness and mosquito control drive in the Narsingdi station area.
The drive was conducted in the Narsingdi station area and platform on Saturday afternoon as part of the program announced by the Central Jubo Dal.
As part of the program, mosquito repellent was sprayed throughout the station area. In addition, mosquito control activities were conducted through fogger machines.
Cleaning activities were also carried out on the station platforms by spraying mosquito repellent.
A large number of leaders and activists from different levels of the District Youth League participated in the program. They identified mosquito breeding sites and created awareness among the general public about cleanliness and prevention of dengue and other mosquito-borne diseases.
District Jubo Dal President Mohsin Hossain Bidyut, General Secretary Hasanuzzaman Hasan, Senior Joint General Secretary Didar Hossain Bhuiyan, City Jubo Dal Convener Mahmudul Hasan Chowdhury Sumon, and district and upazila level leaders and activists were present at the program.
At that time, District Youth League President Mohsin Hossain Bidyut said, Dengue has emerged as an epidemic. For the last 17 years, the fascist government's allies have only committed corruption, not done any development. Today, Narsingdi city has been transformed into an unclean slum.
District Jubo Dal General Secretary Hasanuzzaman Hasan said, "The entire Narsingdi municipality is unclean. So today we carried out mosquito control and cleaning as part of the central program."
