With the aim of integrating the innovative thinking, creative power and entrepreneurial potential of the youth into the mainstream of national development, a special program titled 'Youth, Startups and Potential of Bangladesh' has been organized at the Nawab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Building of Dhaka University on Tuesday.at 9:30 am.

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman is expected to be present as the chief guest at the program. This colorful program is being organized by the Information and Communication Technology Department of the government in collaboration with Dhaka University.

Minister for Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology Faqir Mahbub Anam MP and Prime Minister's Advisor on Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology Rehan Asif Asad will be present as special guests at the event. Vice-Chancellor of Dhaka University Prof Dr. ABM Obaidul Islam will express vote of thanks. Acting Secretary of the Information and Communication Technology Department Md. Mamunur Rashid Bhuiyan will deliver the introductory speech and Professor of the Department of Marketing, Dhaka University, Dr. Md. Morshed Hasan Khan, member of the event management committee, will deliver the welcome speech.

The inaugural ceremony will feature a display of information and images related to the startup ecosystem in Bangladesh, a sharing of experiences of successful startups, an open discussion with students on startups with the Prime Minister, and the handing over of donation checks to selected startups.

One of the key attractions of the event will be the inauguration of the 'National Startup and Entrepreneurship Platform', which will act as a national digital launchpad for entrepreneurs. Through this platform, an entrepreneur will be able to easily find and receive necessary information, government support programs, application processes, training, mentoring, investment opportunities, partner institutions and related services from a single digital platform. This will increase coordination in entrepreneurship development activities, facilitate access to services and build an effective national startup ecosystem.

It is now a national priority to integrate the innovative power of youth and women into the mainstream of economic progress through the development of a new generation of entrepreneurs.

Incidentally, the event will be open to everyone from 1 pm after the opening ceremony.
