Selimuzzaman Selim said, education is the backbone of the nation," he stressed, adding that all educational institutions should be free from corruption and political influence so that the quality of education increases.

Selimuzzaman added, "We will all work together to build a beautiful Muksudpur, and work together to advance the Muksudpur of the future, combining education, development and human values."

He made these remarks at a reception organized by the secondary school and madrasa at the Muksudpur Upazila Auditorium on Saturday afternoon.

Muksudpur UNO Mahmood Ashiq Kabir presided over the program and the principal of Nowhata ARM High School Md. Shawkat Ali Mia moderated it. Muksudpur Upazila Secondary Education Officer Mahafuza Begum, Muksudpur Upazila BNP President Abdus Salam Khan, General Secretary Md. Tariqul Islam Raju, Muksudpur Police Station OC Investigation Md. Matiar Molla, Upazila Academic Supervisor Abdul Qayyum Sharif were the special guests.
Muksudpur Municipality BNP President Abul Bashar Tultu Biswas and General Secretary Mashiur Rahman Mintu, Muksudpur Kamil Madrasa Principal Maulana Ruhul Amin, Bejra MU Senior Madrasa Principal Aminul Islam, Batikamari School and College Acting Principal Zahidul Huda. Sunil Chandra Mandal, Headmaster of Government Muksudpur Saber Mia Jasimuddin (S,J) Model High School, delivered the welcome speech at the event. Among others, the event was addressed by the principal of Maulvi Abdul Hai Memorial School and College, Md. Zakir Hossain, headmaster of JKMB High School, Nirmal Saha, headmaster of Boalia Nezamuddin High School, Md. Rakibul Hasan, headmaster of Surupi Salina Box High School, Md. Lulu Munshi, headmaster of Pachuria APF High School, Randhir Sarkat, and headmaster of Krishnadia Bagumridha High School, Golam Maula, among others. In addition, heads of various secondary schools and madrasa institutions in the upazila, teachers, local journalists and well-wishers were present.
