World Dairy Day celebrated in Gaibandha.

A colourful rally came out of the Deputy Commissioner's Office premises in Gaibandha on Sunday to celebrate World Dairy Day.
Later a discussion meeting was held in the Deputy Commissioner's Conference Room. Additional Deputy Commissioner (overall) Sharmin Akhter was the chief guest at the meeting.
District Livestock Officer Dr. Sadar Upazila Livestock Officer Tarun Kumar Dutt welcomed the meeting chaired by Mahfuzar Rahman. Among others, Deputy Director of the Artificial breeding center Dr. Shahidul Islam Akand, Police Inspector Md. Monir Hossain and Upazila Animal Husbandry Officer. During this time the speakers discussed the importance of vaccine, animal food subsidies, insurance, marketing, buyer -making, milk school feeding and dairy. On the occasion of the day the theme was 'in the immense power of milk, together with the dairy'.
