The workshop brought together women, adolescent girls, community members, volunteers, and women's rights activists. Discussions focused on foundational knowledge regarding cervical and breast cancers, risk factors, warning signs, early detection, the human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine, visual inspection with acetic acid (VIA) screening, and the importance of breast self-examination (BSE).

Addressing the participants, she noted that cervical cancer is largely preventable and that the risks and complications associated with breast cancer can be significantly reduced through timely screening and medical treatment. She emphasized the necessity of regular health check-ups and mindful lifestyle habits.
In her concluding remarks, Masuda Hossain, Deputy Director of the District Department of Women Affairs, praised the initiative for enhancing women's health awareness, stressing that early awareness, routine examinations, and prompt medical care are vital in combating these diseases.
