Waterlogging in heavy rains hampers Aus paddy planting in Amtali

In the last three days, waterlogging has occurred in Amtali upazila. There has been such waterlogging as there is not enough water drainage from the watercolors. As a result, the farmers are ready to produce the fields and the seeds are not planted. Upazila Agriculture Officer Krishibid Md. Russell said that the target of Aus would be challenged to achieve the target.
It is reported that the rainfall was recorded in Amtali upazila in three days from Monday to Wednesday. The rain has appeared in the upazila. Aus paddy is in the field. Farmers are preparing the Aus field but the seeds cannot be planted. As a result, most of the upazila's fields and seeds are likely to be damaged.
According to the Agriculture Office, the target of cultivating aus paddy has been captured in the upazila of the upazila. Due to the delay in planting the seeds, that goal will have to be challenged to be achieved.
On Wednesday afternoon, Kukua, Chawara, Atharogachiya and Gulishakhali unions of Amtali upazila visited the union, the farmers were not planted even though the field was ready and the seeds were not planted. The field is in the water.
Shibli Sharif, a farmer from Taktabunia village of Haldia union, said, "I cannot plant the seeds of Aus because of the water in the water." If the rain has a few more days, the seeds are expected to grow.
Ibrahim of Bainbunia village of Gulishakhali union said, "I cannot plant the seeds of Aus paddy because of the water in the water."
Sultan Mia, a farmer from Kukua village, said, "I have prepared the land and put the seeds but I cannot plant." Due to the lack of water drainage through the water, the fields are submerged in water. Allai knows when the water will be reduced.
Amtali Upazila Agriculture Officer Krishibid Md. Russell said that the water in the food is delayed in planting the seeds of Aus paddy. As a result, Aus will have to face the challenge to achieve the goal.
