Two new assistant proctors appointed at IU

Islamic University (IU) has appointed two new assistant proctors for a term of one year. This decision was communicated through two separate office orders signed by the Acting Registrar, H.M. Ali Hasan, on Sunday.
The newly- appointed assistant proctors are Professor Dr. Khairul Islam from the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, and Professor Dr. Abdul Bari from the Department of Islamic History and Culture.
According to the office orders, the previous term of Mr. Yamin Masum, a lecturer from the Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management, has concluded.
Consequently, Dr. Khairul Islam has been appointed to fill this vacancy. Similarly, with the term of Mithun Bairagi, a lecturer from the Department of Finance and Banking, also having ended, Dr. Abdul Bari will take over his responsibilities as assistant proctor.
The appointments aim to enhance the university's proctorial body and ensure effective student management for the upcoming year.
