Two drug dealers arrested with Yaba, Ganja in Savar

Detectives of Dhaka District North (DB) have arrested two drug dealers with Yaba tablets and ganja in separate drives in Savar. The matter was confirmed on Thursday (April 17) by Md. Jalal Uddin, OC of DB Dhaka District North.
The arrestees are—Md. Rathin (20), son of Md. Mamun of Tarapur area under Ward-6 of Savar Municipality, and Md. Rashed Molla (30), son of Ershad Elayej Ishaq Molla of Jadurchar area in Tetuljhora Union.
According to the police, based on a tip-off, Sub-Inspector Mamunur Rashid and his team conducted separate drives. Around 5:30 pm on Wednesday, they arrested Md. Rathin with half a kilogram of ganja from the Kalma area under Savar Sadar Union. Later, at around 10:30 pm, they arrested Md. Rashed Molla with 100 pieces of Yaba tablets from Padmar Mor area in Hemayetpur.
Md. Jalal Uddin, OC of DB Dhaka District North, said, both arrestees are involved in drug dealing. Cases have been filed against them under relevant sections of the Narcotics Control Act at Savar Model Police Station, and they will be produced before the court on Thursday.
