Mahmudur Rahman, Editor of Dainik Amar Desh, said that in order to ensure the victory of the July Revolution, all the anti-fascist forces must remain on the streets for many more days.

He said this during an exchange of views with the members of Chittagong Metropolitan Journalist Union CMUJ on Friday noon.

Mahmudur Rahman said in the exchange meeting held at the CMUJ office in Loveline of the city, "Fascist Hasina has fled but her friends are still alive, so the winner of the students' books has not been fully achieved yet."

Hasina's cronies are engaged in various conspiracies of Hindutvaism and Indian supremacy with the minority card. If this plot is not countered, our existence will be threatened. In order to counter this threat, all the forces supporting the July Revolution must be united in the field.

A number of organizations emerged among the students of the movement which could weaken the anti-hegemonic movement. Mahmudur Rahman called upon the patriotic forces against Indian hegemony to come to the field against the conspiracy that is going on around the minority.

Mahmudur Rahman, referring to the impending democratic transition through the election, said that in the rush for the election, distance cannot be created between the anti-fascist political forces.

CMUJ President Mohammad Shah Nawaz spoke at the meeting held under the chairmanship of senior journalist Daily Amar Desh Chittagong Bureau Chief Zahidul Karim Kochi, CMUJ General Secretary Saleh Noman, Chittagong Metropolitan Journalist Cooperative Association President and Daily Kalerkantha Bureau Chief MustafaNaeem, of CMUOrganizing Secretary and Divisional Bureau Chief of 71 Television Saiful Islam Artist, Engineer Jane Alam Saleem, CMU Senior Member Majumder Nazimuddin, Shahidul Islam, Bass Senior Reporter Mohammad Arif, Senior Member Md Aminul Islam, Abu Sufian, Shahnewaz Riton, Journalist Farooq Munir, M.A. Hossain, Milad Munna, Mohammad Ali, Arian Lenin, Shahidul Islam Babar and Gias Uddin were present.
