The 18th Syndicate Meeting of BAUET held

The 18th Syndicate meeting of Bangladesh Army University of Engineering and Technology (BAUET) at Qadirabad Cantonment was held on Wednesday at the Syndicate Room with Brigadier General Md. Mizanuzzaman, Vice Chancellor of the University in the chair.
The meeting approved the decisions and recommendations of the 24th and 25th meetings of the Academic Council, the 22nd and 23rd meetings of the Finance Committee, the 14th, 16th and 17th meeting minutes of the Discipline Committee, nominated a representative member of the Finance Committee (experienced in the relevant field) nominated by the Syndicate.
Important decisions were taken along with the approval of the 2023 annual report of BAUET Qadirabad sent to the University Grants Commission.
Treasurer Col. Md. Shakwat Hossain psc (retd.), Registrar Lt. Col. KFA Sohel (retd.), Representative of the Area Commander nominated by the Board of Trustees Lt. Col. Md. Mahmuduzzaman psc, Area Headquarters Bogura, Department of Public Administration, Rajshahi University Professor Dr Pranab Kumar Pandey, Dean of Faculty of Science and Humanities Professor Dr. Md. Sazzad Hossain, Dean, Faculty of Law Professor Dr Md Shahidul Islam and Head Department of CSE Prof. Mohammad Golam Sarwar Bhuyan were present.
Besides, Director of AWT (Education Division) Brigadier General SM Golam Ambia afwc psc (Retd), Managing Director of AWT Brigadier General Md. Sajjad Hossain ndc, psc and Joint Secretary (Admin ) nominated by Ministry of Education Md Nazrul Islam attended the meeting virtually.
