Two newly- constructed buildings inaugurated at DU Jagannath Hall

The newly- constructed Rabindra Bhavan for the students of Dhaka University Jagannath Hall and the newly constructed Prof. Anudwaipayan Bhattacharya Residential Teachers Bhavan for the resident teachers were inaugurated on Sunday.
Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr. Niaz Ahmad Khan inaugurated the two buildings as the chief guest.
Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Admn) Prof Dr. Saima Haque Vidisha and Treasurer Prof Dr. Mohammad Jahangir Alam Chowdhury was present as special guest.
In the event, among others, the proctor of the university, Associate Prof Saifuddin Ahmed and the resident teacher of the hall related to the construction project. Nepal Chandra Roy spoke. Provosts of various halls, deans of various faculties and resident teachers, officials and students of Jagannath Hall were present at this time.
VC Prof Dr. Niaz Ahmad Khan expressed sincere thanks to all those involved in the implementation of this construction project. He said that there is a housing crisis in Dhaka University for a long time.
The university administration is working very sincerely to solve the housing crisis of the students. As a result of the construction of this building, the housing crisis of several students of the university was solved. Emphasizing on the maintenance of the two newly constructed buildings, he said, for this purpose, teachers, students, officials and employees should be kept safe from their respective positions.
It should be noted that the 10-storey Rabindra Bhavan has accommodation for 1,000 students in 250 rooms with modern facilities.
