Teachers of 50 primary schools of Alikadam upazila did not get salary of February month

Due to the transfer of the Upazila Primary Education Officer in Alikadam upazila of Bandarban, more than two and a half hundred assistant teachers, including 22 head teachers of the 50 government primary schools, did not get the salary for the month of February.
Zainab Ara Begum, head teacher of Gaamjiri Government Primary School in the upazila and Zainab Ara Begum, head teacher of Asati Tripura Para Government Primary School, said that there are 22 head teachers out of the fifty government primary schools of the upazila. The acting head teacher is in 20 schools. They have not yet received the salary allowance of the head teachers, acting head teachers and assistant teachers in February. As a result, the misery of teachers and staff has increased during the current Ramadan.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer Muhammad Abdullah Al Mumin told the Deputy Commissioner and ADC (Education) after learning about the matter.
Asked about the matter, District Primary Education Officer Mofazzal Hossain said that the acting Upazila Education Officer of the Alikadam Education Office did not have the financial power, a letter was given to the Director General to give the officer financial power. Soon the salary allowance will be provided if the issue of financial power is issued.
