5 people including 3 from same family, killed in road accident in Ishwardi

A total of four people, including three from the same family, were killed on the spot in a head-on collision between a passenger bus and a CNG truck at Dhulti Baharpur on the Ishwardi-Pabna highway on Thursday.
one person was killed on the way to Rajshahi and at least 5 people were injured.
The deceased are Rabbi (35), son of the deceased Babur Pramanik of Baghail village of Diyar, Ishwardi; Rabbi's wife Mukta (25) and their one-and-a-half-year-old son Mostakim; Ratul Hossain (30), son of Ashraful Islam of Rabidanga area of Shailkupa upazila of Jhenaidah; and CNG driver Mostafa Zaman Toha (25), a resident of Ishwardi. One of the injured has been admitted to Rajshahi and the rest to Ishwardi Hospital.
Eyewitnesses said, the tragic accident occurred at 5:30 pm when a wedding bus was coming from Pabna towards Ishwardi when it collided head-on with a Dashuria-bound CNG coming from the opposite direction. Upon receiving the news of the incident, Ishwardi police and fire brigade members rescued the victims from the scene and took them to Ishwardi Hospital.
