A special general meeting of the Dinajpur Journalists’ Union, a nationalist journalists’ organization, was held on Saturday throughout the day at the Birganj Press Club Hall Room in Dinajpur.
The meeting was chaired by the founding president of the Dinajpur Journalists’ Union, G.M. Hiru. General Secretary Mahfizul Islam Ripon, Vice-Presidents Sadakat Ali Khan and Mofachchilul Majed Nayan, former General Secretary Atikur Rahman, and The Country Today’s Dinajpur district correspondent Mahidul Islam Ripon, among others were present.
Journalists from all 13 upazilas of Dinajpur district attended the special general meeting, raising various issues and challenges they face. The leaders of the Journalists’ Union assured the members that solutions to all their problems would be addressed.
