SDI hands over cheque of Tk 86 lakhs to family of Branch Manager Azgar who died in road accident

A cheque of 85.95,198/- (eighty-five lakh ninety-five thousand one hundred ninety-eight taka) has been handed over to the family of the former Branch Manager of the Jirani Branch of the Society for Development Initiatives SDI.
It is to be noted that on Wednesday at 7:10 am, Branch Manager of the Jirani Branch of SDI, Md. Ali Azgar, passed away in a motorcycle accident. He was 47 years old at the time of his death. He served SDI with dedication and sincerity for 22 years and 11 days. The SDI authorities are deeply saddened by his death.
On Friday , SDI paid a tribute to the late Md. Ali Azgar A Milad and Doa Mahfil and a benefit and financial assistance program for his family were organized in memory of the deceased. His family, journalists, colleagues and well-wishers and dignitaries of the area participated in the program. In accordance with the policy of SDI, a check of 85.95,198/- (eighty-five lakh ninety-five thousand one hundred ninety-eight) taka was handed over as a benefit to his wife Farida Yasmin and son Md. Rabiul Faisal, the elected nominees of the deceased.
SDI Founder and Executive Director Md. Shamsul Haque, Director (Programs) of SDI Central Office Md. Kamruzzaman spoke at the Milad, Doa Mahfil and Memorial Meeting held at FTC Hall Room, Sutipara, Dhamrai, Dhaka. In addition, other officers of the central office and the zonal managers of Dhaka and Dhamrai zones and other officers reminisced about the work life of the deceased.
The speakers said that Md. Ali Azgar has left an unimaginable impression on everyone through his honesty, responsibility and cordial behavior in his career. His contribution and memory will remain forever. We, on behalf of SDI and his family, seek prayers and sympathy from everyone.
