
Rabindra Jayanti celebrated with children in Rajshahi

The 164th birth anniversary of the world poet Rabindranath Tagore was celebrated in Rajshahi, organized by the District Administration and Bangladesh Shishu Academy Rajshahi o Thursday afternoon.
The event was held at the auditorium of Bangladesh Shishu Academy Rajshahi.
Presided over by District Child Affairs Officer Manzur Kader, guests were renowned dance guru Hasib Panna, founder of Nikkan Nritya Shilpi Goshti—considered the pioneer of dance in North Bengal, senior journalist Sujauddin Choton, and child speaker M.M. Hasan Inam.
The children artists filled the Shishu Academy premises with vibrant poetry recitations, speeches, and dances. The event was hosted by Rajshahi Betar presenter Siraji Ferdous Emon. Dance instructor of the Shishu Academy, Kaberi Debnath, along with teachers, officers, staff, students from various departments, and guardians were also present at the occasion.
