The chargesheet has not been filed against the accused in the pornography case even after 6 months in Noakhali.

The Deputy Commissioner and the Superintendent of Police informed the Headmaster that the defendants are trying to get rid of the case of social and personal loss of the plaintiff and the victim through pornography and demand Tk 5 lakh.

There is dissatisfaction in the public mind.

Police and local residents said that 6 defendants who came on bail from the High Court in Noakhali's Upazila Hatia have been accused of threatening to kill the defendant in the case under the Pornography Control Act.

Mamun -Or -Rashid, Headmaster of Mak Parshan Government Primary School, the plaintiff in the case filed under the Pornography Control Act at Sudharam Model Police Station on the morning of May 5, confirmed the fact.

A general diary (GD No. 817) has been filed in this regard at Sudharam Model Police Station. The accused are Amir Hossain (52), headmaster of Jahazmara Government Primary School of Hatia Upazila, Noor Uddin Tanveer (35), headmaster of Madhya Rehania Abdullah Government Primary School, Jinnat Ara Begum (35), assistant teacher of Mak Parshan Government Primary School and Hasan Uddin Biplab (35). (temporary suspension) and Deputy Assistant Engineer of Hatia Upazila LGED (Local Government Engineering Department) Shariful Islam. Earlier, a case was filed under the Pornography Control Act at Noakhali's Sudharam (Sadar) police station on May 5 against the six accused, Hatia Mak Parshan Government Primary School Principal. The main accused in this case, Amjad Hossain, Headmaster of Maizvander Sharif High School of Sadar Upazila, has been arrested by the police. He is now in jail. According to the statement of the case, the accused, in connivance with each other, proposed an immoral relationship with the threat of hacking personal objectionable photos from the mobile phone of Nalua Rehan Ali Chowdhuryhat, the wife of the plaintiff Mamun or Rashid, an assistant teacher of Chowdhuryhat Government Primary School and demanding a ransom of five lakh taka.

SI Mithun Chandra Sheel, investigating officer of the case, said that the main accused in this case is Md. 6 accused including Amjad Hossain are on bail. The mobile phones of 4 of them have been seized. Investigation of the case is ongoing.

Meanwhile, as the mobile phone was switched off, none of the defendants could be interviewed regarding the threats to kill the other side of the case and to disappear the body. On the other hand, Deputy Assistant Engineer Shariful Islam's phone was on, but he did not answer even after calling him several times. Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Sudharam Model Police Station Kamrul Islam GD confirmed the truth of the case and told Manavzamin that action will be taken against the accused after investigating the matter.

The victim complained to the DC and SP that the mastermind of this much-discussed case, Jinnat Ara Begum, instead of confiscating her son's mobile phone, the police seized her son's mobile phone

. As of the time of writing this report, a ransom of 5 lakh taka was demanded to spread the pictures of the husband and wife's private intimate moments all over the world. The mobile of Shariful Islam, the main owner of the claim, has not been seized yet.
